Wireline Field Service Manager

The FSM is responsible for overseeing all wireline operations and services within a designated region.

Role Purpose

This role involves managing a team of technical professionals, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, optimizing operational efficiency, and maintaining customer relationships. The FSM plays a critical role in project execution, resource allocation, and delivery of high-quality services to clients.

Responsibilities include but not limited
  • Foster a collaborative and safety-focused work environment.
  • Manage and supervise wireline field service engineers and support personnel
  • Oversee daily wireline operations, ensuring adherence to operational procedures and safety standards.
  • Plan and schedule field activities, equipment utilization, and resource allocation to meet project deadlines and client needs.
  • Monitor and analyze field performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Conduct regular training and development sessions to enhance technical skills and safety awareness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance service delivery.
  • Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify opportunities for new services and projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all local laws and regulations regarding safety and environmental standards.
  • Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to promote a culture of safety within the team.
  • Develop and manage the budget for wireline operations, including labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance, repair, and inventory management.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on operations, performance, and financial metrics to senior management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in wireline services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Extensive knowledge of wireline equipment, techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coach and mentor staff effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in project management and operational planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
